The Maya Devi Goel Public School was opened in the year 1995 at Ahmedgarh, Ludhiana (Punjab) by the Purshottam Das Goel Trust. Mr. Madan Lal Goel, the founder chairman of the school laid the foundation of this instuition in the loving memory of his beloved mother Late Smt. Maya Devi Goel, with the desire to instruct the youth and lead them along a purposeful path in their course of life.



The Maya Devi Goel Public School is an Unaided Recognized Private Institution affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education. The Main aim of the school is to provide quality education for the all round development of the childs personality. Emphasis is not on the amount of information to be put into the brain, but on kindling the thinking faculty of the child and character building, Efforts are on to make it a perfect blend of tradition and modernity relevant to all sections of society. The co-curricular and education activities at M.D.G.P.S are fine-tuned to draw out the very best in a child to equip him to serve the nation with pride when he steps out into the wide, wild world of infinite possibilities. Community living is also practiced in the form of festivals, camps and trips.

Maya Devi Goel Public School is entering the 12th successful year of its service thanks to the dedicated efforts of the staff and co-operation of parents in the development of this institution. Maya Devi Goel Public School is following a child centered system of education. The children are encouraged to develop the qualities of honesty and discipline. Here at M.D.G.P.S discipline is a way of working and not the result of part of punishment.

The school is in the process of getting affiliated to the central board of secondary education New Delhi. The school authorities have a vision to expand the school up to the secondary level and eventually up to the college level.
